Position Title: Part-Time Embroidery Associate

Position Summary

The Ragg Company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Embroidery Associate to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating embroidery equipment, preparing garments for production, monitoring stitch quality, and ensuring finished products meet company standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality work, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial embroidery machines and related equipment. 
• Hoop garments and prepare products for embroidery production. 
• Load designs and ensure proper machine setup. 
• Monitor embroidery runs for quality, thread breaks, and machine performance. 
• Trim threads, inspect finished products, and perform quality control checks. 
• Fold, package, and prepare completed orders for delivery or pickup. 
• Maintain a clean and organized work area. 
• Assist with inventory management of thread, backing, and embroidery supplies. 
• Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and customer expectations. 
• Follow company safety procedures and production standards. 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
• Previous embroidery experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided. 
• Ability to learn and operate embroidery machinery. 
• Strong attention to detail and quality. 
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. 
• Dependable attendance and punctuality. 
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. 
• Basic computer skills are helpful. 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods. 
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally. 
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. 
• Ability to work in a production environment with moving equipment.
